Yes! We’ll recycle your old batteries and make sure they’re disposed of correctly.

We accept all types of batteries – from lead-acid/car batteries and lithium batteries, to single use alkaline batteries such as AA and 9V.

Drop off for lead-acid, car batteries and large UPS batteries is free.

Household batteries of any type - such as alkaline single-use batteries (AA, AAA etc) - can be recycled for $5 per kilogram, making it nice and easy to round them all up and drop off. We will weigh them on-site when we process your drop-off.

Yes, batteries are included under the e-waste umbrella. We are equipped to process batteries of any kind – ensuring they are safely processed, and hazardous material are diverted from local landfills.

Batteries of any kind cannot be put in your curbside recycling bin, and it is recommended that they are not included in your rubbish collection as batteries contain hazardous substances that can leak and potentially create fires.

It is recommended you responsibly recycle these via an toxic disposal centre or an e-waste recycler such as Computer Recycling Ltd.
